Soft Specimens is my little corner of the strange and wonderful!

I started making these pieces because I wanted to create something that felt completely different from the usual things you find in a shop. I love old fashioned curiosities, forgotten toys, Victorian style, circus imagery and anything that makes you stop and think, what on earth is that?

I upcycle and transform teddies by hand into one of a kind pieces, giving something that might otherwise have been forgotten a new life!

There isn't really a factory, a team or a big production line behind Soft Specimens. It's me, a pile of teddies, a lot of ideas and a tiny studio full of weird bits and bobs!
